Sunshine School began in 1964 under the sponsorship of the Searcy Junior Auxiliary. Beginning with seven special education students attending on a half-day basis, school was held in a converted army barracks on land leased from Searcy Public Schools. The Sunshine School serves students of all ages with developmental disabilities. There is no age limit for students to be admitted to the preschool, nor is there an automatic cut-off age for adults.

Your garden cannot live without these primitive inspired rustics, handmade by Chris Farr and Frieda Brown. They make everything from acorn birdhouses, rabbit, frog and lady bug luminaires, green man planters and much much more. Everything here is made out of ceramics and kiln fired at extremely high temperatures.
