Nicole Mattson Memorial Athletic Scholarship Foundation. The Nicole Mattson Memorial Athletic Scholarship Foundation was officially founded in 2009 with the mission of giving high school athletes the opportunity to pursue their dreams of attending college. The foundation organizes two large-scale fundraisers a year, a softball tournament and a crab feed, along with several small-scale fundraisers, such as participating in the Human Race.

Sunday, November 16, 2008. Angie and Eva also came out for a visit while Melanie was still here. It was so nice to have the three of us together again. Angie was able to lived out her dream of visiting Amish country. We heard this lion roaring from a few hundred yards away and it did it again while we were watching it-by far my favorite zoo experience! This snapping turtle fell in love with Melanie.
