The mission of the Magnolia Independent Film Festival is to encourage and grant the development of all aspects of the creative arts in and around the Golden Triangle area through the cinema experience. Founded by Ron Tibbett in 1997, THE MAG was the first independent film festival in Mississippi. The 2018 Film Festival saw a record number of entries and we are excited to bring you a great lineup of independent film.

In Memory of Those Who Came Before Us. The MVFD is pleased to announce our run totals for 2016! In 2016 we responded to a total of 5214 calls for service. Our average response time to a call for service was 7 minutes and 9 seconds. Response time was down by a full 22 seconds. Congratulations to our members for a job well done.
