Life and work in eastern Hungary. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Fountain in the Püspökladány city center. August is blazing hot here, with heat exhaustion warnings out on the local news; TV stations are showing video of kids playing in city-center fountains around the area. Normally the police would chase them out of the water, but when the temperature reaches certain levels the rules are relaxed! Ice cream venders are staying busy. On a more pleasant note, ice cream sales are doing fine! Life on the field.

Sunday, August 16, 2015. Another friend, too, continues to be open, and as I talked with him he was able to see that God is helping him as a result of people praying for him. I recently had my testimony translated into Hungarian and I was able to practice with our neighbor who is not a believer. We will start school on Monday! God is giving Arianna clarity with the direction of where to go to college and we are thankful.
