This is not a dress rehearsal. I went to the beach today. I saw this fat, old grandmother laughing and playing with a very small baby. Such vision stirred a strange thought in my mind. Though completely natural, it seemed so odd that this elderly woman once looked so different, so small. She once was nearly identical to this baby.
