Thursday, October 27, 2016. Spent the day in Los Glaciares National Park viewing the magnificent Perito Moreno glacier. The glacier is completely breathtaking, both in size and beauty. This is the only glacier in the south Patagonia ice field which is advancing, and it gains 2m per day.

Why I hate writing journals and blogging. When I was a teenager I wrote truly horrible drivel in notebooks and keep them stashed away in a cubbyhole in my desk. If my life were a novel my brother would have found it, read it and mocked me unmercifully, blighting my burgeoning writing career. Such melodrama! It was sort of like Twilight but absolutely no plot and, of course, no vampires, sparkly or otherwise.
