Thursday, August 22, 2013. Thoughts from the Sermon on the Mount. As I wind up my last trip to Ethiopia for the foreseeable future, I find myself diving back in again to the Sermon on the Mount. There are some new parts of this sermon that are challenging me, which I may look at in a later blog. But today I wanted to write about a part that bothered me for a long time. Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.

Sharing life as a fourth year medical student. Thoughts on balance, faith, women in medicine, the doctor-patient relationship, studying- hopeful things. I just wanted to send a little note out into the ocean of cyberspace! There are many little transitions like moving into a place, living away from the husband for two weeks, moving where there is no family, entering residency etc! My Toes are Black.
