Tuesday, February 3, 2009. The first time I tried titanium crutches I was shocked! They were thinner than my aluminum alloy crutches and so much lighter-they felt like toothpicks in my hands. Because of the difference in weight; it took me awhile to adjust to the custom titanium crutches.
