I have had a few bad pain days in the last week where I just want to be put in a coma until I can get surgery. But with the compounding sadness from the loss of my father, I know I need to be around people and distractions as much as I can or I will get lost in the depression. So today I started reaching out to people around me and making plans.

First ghost town trip of the year! Posted in Abandoned buildings. On May 10, 2015 by Amanda. This afternoon I finally went on another drive to explore ghost towns and other random buildings. The gravel roads were actually quite dry; I probably could have done these a few weeks ago! I began by visiting Prongua. It has an old grain elevator and community hall.

Try explaining to a 5 year old why there are 500 drunk Santas on the street. The silver subway cars that move below the city transport millions of passengers a day. They read N, 7, L, Q, S, etc. The express cars zip by the local stops. Who expects all 468 stations to be visited by every single car? August 21, 2011.

Til sommer tager jeg et år som udvekslingsstudent til USA, hvor jeg skal gå på high school og bo hos en værtsfamilie. Denne blog er for min familie og venner, så de kan følge lidt med i hvad jeg går og laver. Men også for alle andre interesserede og kommende udvekslingselever, så de også kan få en opfattelse af hvordan det er at være udvekslingsstudent. Det er ikke et farvel, men på gensyn!
