I was away at college at the time. But slowly this day becomes less and less heavy. The memorials still take place but on a much smaller scale and shorter time frame.

I was digging around through photos of past trips to upload to our relatively new Flickr page. And I stumbled across these from a quick end-of-season trip to Second Beach in September of 2013. I never got around to writing a blog post about it, maybe because this magical place. Is already our most blogged about location.
